What It's Not About

It's not about sex.
It's not about the lusty desire.
It's not about promises made, promises kept, or promises broken.

It's not about what you say to me that makes me feel the way I do.
It's not just about the way you make me feel when I'm around you.

It's not just about the way you look at me that gives me the butterflies.
It's not just the way you made me cry happy tears with what seemed like no effort at all.
It's not just about how you make me feel beautiful, no matter how I look.

It's not just about how, when I think of you, I think of both of us.  
It's not just about how when I see us, I see a future.

I don't think you understand.
I don't think anyone understands.

I've never felt this way for someone ever in my life.

It's not about you being my first love... Damn, If it's my first love, please let it be my last and only.

It's not about how meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me.
It's not just about how all I want to know is if you see what I see.

It's not about how if I could just stop time with just you and I,
I wouldn't want sex... no...  Holding your hand would be enough.

It's not about how to be held by you would be... imperfectly perfect.

It's about how I can't imagine my life without you in it.
It's about how I don't want to live without you.
It's about all of these things put together to spell out 'I love you'.

I don't know what I'll do if you break my heart... but to stop caring about you would never be an option.

This is about how no matter what you do to me, you will always have a place in my heart.  Even if it kills me.
